El mundo actual se encuentra en una crisis profunda. La economía mundial no puede satisfacer las necesidades básicas de la población mundial. Además, los modelos políticos y económicos están llevando al mundo hacia muchas catástrofes. Hay pocas propuestas políticas de cambio que ofrecen una visión suficientemente robusta para brindar las soluciones necesarias que puedan remediar los problemas actuales y promover un desarrollo pleno y sostenible. Hay pocos institutos efectivamente progresistas o socialistas en el mundo que puedan ofrecer nuevos modelos económicos y de desarrollo. Esto genera mayor dificultad para las fuerzas progresistas en plantear y organizar sus ideas. La escasez de institutos y fundaciones progresistas obligan a muchos actores a hacer su propia investigación y formar sus ideas basadas en investigación sin los recursos óptimos. Además, las fuerzas progresistas, en muchos casos, están obligadas a depender de institutos capitalistas, financiados por grandes corporaciones, reduciendo considerablemente la libertad e independencia de sus ideas, el curso de investigación, plataformas políticas y programas de acción. Por eso, hay una gran necesidad de crear nuevos institutos que puedan: hacer investigación profunda sobre políticas públicas del pasado y actuales y ofrecer alternativas realistas y hechas para la realidad del siglo 21; plasmar y ofrecer políticas públicas nuevas e innovadoras para promover el desarrollo; crear, en unión con actores nuevos, argumentos y plataformas para transformar sus países y el mundo; organizar conferencias y foros internacionales para debatir y formular nuevas soluciones; crear y diseminar material educativo tal como documentales para mostrar los errores de los modelos actuales y ofrecer nuevas alternativas para reformar la política mundial; y, finalmente, ofrecer a los intelectuales, activistas, grupos sociales e individuos del mundo un lugar para reflexionar, formar, expresar y organizar sus ideas y programas.
The world today is in a deep crisis. The world economy is unable to meet the basic needs of the world population. Furthermore, current political and economic models are leading the world towards many catastrophes. There are few political proposals for change that offer a vision large enough to provide the necessary solutions that can remedy current problems and promote full and sustainable development. There are few effectively progressive or socialist institutes in the world that can offer new development models. This makes it difficult for progressive forces to articulate and organize their ideas. The shortage of progressive institutes and foundations force many actors to do their own research and form their policies without optimal resources. In addition, progressive forces, in many cases, are obliged to rely on groups that promote capitalism, founded by large corporations and billionaires, considerably reducing the freedom and independence of their ideas, research, platforms, and action programs. Therefore, there is a great need to create new institutes that can: do profound research on past and current public policies and offer realistic alternatives in the 21st century; develop and offer new and innovative public policies to promote development; create new arguments and platforms to transform countries and the world; organize international conferences and forums to discuss and formulate new public policies; create and disseminate educational material, such as documentaries, to show the errors of current models and offer new alternatives to reform the world; and, finally, to offer intellectuals, activists, social groups, and individuals of the world a place to reflect on, form, express, and organize their ideas and programs.

Visión/Vision
Queremos crear un espacio para elaborar, reforzar, promover y apoyar actores que generen y/o difundan conocimiento que mantenga y promueva reformas progresistas en el sector económico-productivo, cuyo enfoque primordial se materialice en el desarrollo sostenible de la sociedad y en la implementación de políticas públicas basadas en la justicia social y en beneficio de la colectividad.
We want to create a space to elaborate, reinforce, promote, and support policy makers who generate and/or disseminate knowledge that maintains and promotes progressive reforms in the economy. Our main focus is realized through the sustainable development of society and in the implementation of public policies based on social justice and for the benefit of the community.

Somos una organización multinacional, no-gubernamental, sin fines de lucro, sin afiliación politica, cuya existencia es catalizar políticas públicas en países del Continente Americano y del mundo para promover el desarrollo socioeconómico justo y dinámico. Queremos lograr el progreso real de todos con equidad y la preservación del medio ambiente.
We are a non-profit, non-governmental, multinational organization, without political affiliation that catalyzes public policies in the Americas and the world to promote fair and dynamic socio-economic development. We want to achieve real progress for all with equity and the preservation of the environment.
Metas/Goals
1. Investigar políticas públicas socialistas del pasado (siglos 19, 20 y 21) que han
resultado exitosas y fracasadas.
2. Investigar a profundidad las políticas públicas socialistas exitosas para identificar porque resultaron exitosas y cómo podemos activar, mejorar e implementarlas en el siglo 21.
3. Investigar reformas progresistas en "economias capitalistas" y cómo podemos aprender, mejorar e implementarlas en el siglo 21.
4. Desarrollar nuevas políticas públicas económicas, laborales y ambientales.
5. Desarrollar nuevas políticas públicas de planificación urbana.
6. Desarrollar proyectos productivos y sustentables.
7. Promover y organizar debates entre fuerzas progresistas y organizaciones que comparten la visión del instituto para crear nuevas políticas públicas para el siglo 21.
8. Organizar conferencias sobre temas y problemáticas actuales para buscar y
fomentar nuevas soluciones y políticas públicas.
9. Investigar y compartir ideas sobre como regular y controlar el capital escala global y local.
10. Investigar y compartir ideas sobre temas de desarrollo social y economico local y global.
11. Elaborar documentales y escribir artículos y libros sobre temas importantes para El Instituto con la finalidad de la difusión global.
1. Research socialist public policies of the past (19th, 20th and 21st centuries) that had successful and unsuccessful results.
2. Thoroughly research successful socialist public policies to identify why they were successful and how we can learn from, improve, and implement them in the 21st century.
3. Research progressive reforms in "capitalist economies" and how we can learn from, improve, and implement them in the 21st century.
4. Develop new economic, labor, and environmental public policies. Provide activists and public policy makers with research and information to help implement progressive public policy.
5. Develop new urban planning policies.
6. Develop productive and sustainable projects.
7. Promote and organize debates between progressive forces and organizations with The Institute's vision to create new public policies for the 21st century.
8. Organize conferences on current issues and problems to find and promote new solutions and public policies.
9. Research and share ideas on how to regulate and control global and local capital.
10. Research and share ideas on local and global social and economic development issues.
11. Prepare documentaries and write articles and books on important topics for The Institute to publish world-wide.
